For some reason, spammers have almost taken over these forums, but not anymore. Today, a few changes were made to eliminate this problem.
First, deleting all old spammers. This will take some time, but I'v been working on it for a while already. I added a little program that helps me delete all threads/post, block ip, and ban the user with one click. This has greatly sped things up for me, but still lots to go. Check back in a couple days and it should be all gone.
Second, changing the registration system where users enter a series of numbers and letters to continue. This was changed with a question, and the question will changed frequently.
And last, all new members will not be able to post right away. They will have to be manually added into the 'Registered Users' user group. This will stop all new spammers. An automatic system will be put in place in the future, but for now, this is what it will be.
