A Fakie Ollie is an ollie while riding in the fakie stance. Fakie stance is important for lines, combos, and ramp riding. Fakie ollie opens up alot of tricks for many obstacles.
Easiest way to set up for a fakie ollie is to ride in the switch stance position then move the front foot to the nose and the back foot to the back bolts or the middle of the deck. Once in this position it should feel like your riding your regular stance backwards. When ready to pop the fakie ollie your going to want to pop the nose not as hard as a regular ollie but your going to want to slide your foot up and level out faster. When landing, your going to be landing in switch so make sure you are above the board and in the right position to land stable.
A usual problem with the fakie ollie is that your popping the nose too hard and you cant level out the nose and the tail pops up towards your inner thigh. Just be confident and remember if your trying to get on, up, over, or down something that you have to clear an extra three quarters of your board, so go a bit faster than regular speed.
