Heelflip
By Jeffererey at 22/12/2006 - 4:03am
Heelflip, for some people is easier than learning Kickflips. I advise learning kickflips first because these spin slower and it's easy to land rail on them.

When setting up for a heelflip, your back foot can be between the middle and the inside edge of your tail, and your front foot should be aruond the middle of your board with your toes hanging off the toeside of the board. Pop and flip with the heel before the starting curve of the nose. When it flips, it tends to come up easier then most flip tricks for easier catching. Watch the board and make sure you see most of the foam before landing on it. When landing, land stable and ride it away.

After this, you can take them off drops, link them with slides, and learn different heelflip combos.
