Landing Switch (to fakie)
By Jeffererey at 24/12/2006 - 9:21am
A lot of people find it hard to land backwards, switch, or "to fakie" off of a jump, rail, or other obstacles. There's a lot of factors that can screw it up pretty easily.

When you land you don't want to keep pressure on the nose (in switch position) but you want to keep pressure on the tail (which would be your nose while riding regular). Make sure to land on the right side with some pressure like stated, to try and minimize toe drag, and to turn your head fully around which will turn your arms, shoulders, and hips. When riding away, bend your knees and use your arms for balance.

Try this on flat, powerslide into a 180 and ride switch/fakie. Go to a box and 180 off of it from a 50, take it to rails or 180 grab tricks off of jumps, and even wallrides and quarterpipes.
