07 Premiere John Cardiel
By Jeffererey at 14/01/2007 - 6:35am
Second season into snowskating, figured I needed a real snowskate, its a single deck with a ptex base. I ordered it off of www.daddiesboardshop.com for $80USD and it came relatively quick.

First Thoughts
Didn't know what to expect, I was really pumped to use it because it had a ptex base, skateboard style form, real foam griptape, and was twice as wide as my walmart plastic snowskate, I thought it was amazing.

Positives
  • Waxable Ptex Base
  • Skateboard feel, thickness, length, concave.
  • Tight strong premiere foam for more grip
  • Thick 12ply
  • Ridges for easier lock in with different obstacles
  • Warranty
Negatives
  • Ptex around the edges slightly peel easily, straight edge not molded together
  • Hard to scrape off wax in between ridges
Final Thoughts
Ist my first real snowskate, did not know what really to expect but had some idea. I am so glad I bought it, makes snowskating a lot different from using old plastic ones or regular skateboard decks. I wish it would of not peeled on the edges so quickly, tried contacting premiere about it but no response. I suggest buying this model or any of the 07 wood pro models.
