This is very useful when your on the edge of a little hill or in the flats somewhere and need to more up a little bit. And it looks pretty cool. The key here is to shift your weight back and forth from noes to tail. Start by putting all your wieght on the tail of your board. As the nose comes up, bring the nose of the board forward. Then put the nose of the board down and put all your weight on the nose of the board. Left up the tail and now bring that forward. You also want to be leaning forward a little to to dig the front edge of the board in so you can push away each time. After you get good at this each step you man can be quite big and you'll be able to hop from each on.
