I got this board about 3 months ago after breaking my Ride Kink (that I had for about 30 days). The Kink was a really good board, but it gets thinner around the nose and the tail (so it's softer) which is where mine broke.
I originally wanted a Capita Stairmaster because I wanted a board that is really soft, yet has enough pop for kickers. So I went to the shop to find that they didn't have them anymore. The reason was they were having top sheet problems and the boards were recalled. I needed a new board because I ride every day and didn't want to wait at least a month for a new board, so I picked up a Rome Artifact 156.
The first day I rode my new board, I noticed it was about as soft as my Kink, and this board wasn't even broken in yet. Once broken in, the Artifact has a perfect balance where it's soft enough to do presses with minimal effort.
Another great feature about this board is its copper edges. They wear down pretty fast so they don't catch on rails or boxes, and the copper means that the edges will dent, but won't split. Once broken in, the edges still stay sharp enough to ride the pipe with ease.

Info.
The World Industries AXX snowskate is a plastic snowskate. It has a length of 33". It is a very good plastic snowskate, and you can get it for a very good price.
Kick
This snowskate has the perfect amount of kick on the nose and tail. You can get some good pop.
Ride
This snowskate rides pretty good. But try not to put pressure on the pocket of the concave on the nose when you are riding, it will dig into the ground and you will stop.
Overall
Overall, i would rate this snowskate 9/10. It has perfect kick and rides good, but it could be better if it was wood in my opinion. If you are looking for a good plastic snowskate, I would recommend this one.

Ok, So my boots are destroyed, and I wanted to find something to fix them. Since my dad works at a work boot distributor I asked him about it and he suggested somthing called "Shoo Goo". He brought me a bottle home the next day and this is what I found out:

POSITIVES:
- It Comes in 2 different colors.
- It comes with Directions on the back.
- It's not too costly (around $3.00)
- Its found in most wal-mart shoe departments
NEGATIVES:
- It takes a while to dry
- You have to apply it in layers for it to be fully effective
- Its really noticeable
What I did was apply it, Let it dry a bit and apply it again, 3 times in a week for one week and its lasted them to this day.

Second season into snowskating, figured I needed a real snowskate, its a single deck with a ptex base. I ordered it off of www.daddiesboardshop.com for $80USD and it came relatively quick.
First Thoughts
Didn't know what to expect, I was really pumped to use it because it had a ptex base, skateboard style form, real foam griptape, and was twice as wide as my walmart plastic snowskate, I thought it was amazing.
Positives- Waxable Ptex Base
- Skateboard feel, thickness, length, concave.
- Tight strong premiere foam for more grip
- Thick 12ply
- Ridges for easier lock in with different obstacles
- Warranty
Negatives- Ptex around the edges slightly peel easily, straight edge not molded together
- Hard to scrape off wax in between ridges
Final Thoughts
Ist my first real snowskate, did not know what really to expect but had some idea.

Rossignol Mini
A 121 cm. board, the same width as a 150 cm., with up to a 22” stance. How cool is that?
Anyway, the quality is nice, the base is decent, and held up pretty well against the rails and boxes, but will definitely need a hot wax after riding on rocks, but that’s kind of a given… It’s real easy to ride, has an average amount of flex, amazing pop, and speed wise can keep up with the rest.
Rails- I surprisingly really liked it. Because of the length, and weight, you have a lot of control, and can make little adjustments very easily.
Jumps-For small little kickers and stuff, you can pop so much higher than a regular board, and get really good height off a small jump. For the bigger jumps, the grab variations are sick; I can hold nosegrabs, and tailgrabs forever when I’m in the air. Landing can be a bit of problem. Because of the sheer shortness of the board, it’s really easy to wash out when landing hard.
Messing around- Probably the thing that is most appealing about the board. Well, let me put it simply. Yes, it is a fun to ride as it looks. Flat 360’s, throwing up insanely high tail butters, and popping ollies slightly above the “ridiculous” level. The works.
