Terminology

A-Frame Box/Rail - Shaped like an A, this obstacle goes up at an angle and has a point at the top then goes down at the same angle.

Bail - To fall over

Bullet Proof - when the conditions are very icey and hard, the snow is bulletproof because its so hard

Butter Box - A big box made out of snow, usually you land on it off of a kicker, then jump off the other end and land on another ramp or slope.

Booter - a big jump where lots of speed is need and you get launch into the air

Bust - to go do something

C-Rail - a rail with a bend to it, so if you look from the top it looks like a C

Cat-Track - a run going across to another run, ususaly you can get some good air time if you launch off one

Dialed - to nail a trick, to be able to do a trick prefectly everytime

Easy Style It - check out all the rails and jumps before you hit them. You want to look for where to land, where to go off the jump, how fast you should go. Park changes everyday and throughtout each day, so be careful

Gnarly - crazy

Hip - a big jump where you have to go off the front side and can land only on one side

Jib - a rail

Kink - a bend in a rail or box

Moguls - a run on the mountain full of tear drop shape bumps

Nuts - really crazy

Payed Out - to bail, or fall over


Phat - cool

Powder - Soft snow, freshly fallen snow

Press - a nose or tail press, like a manual on a skateboard, to balance on either end of the snowboard

Quater Pipe - half of a half pipe(duh), one wall where you can get big speed to get really high in the air

Rodeo - backflip with a spin

Roller - a bump across the runs caused by a cat-tack. hit this bumer with speed to get mad air

S-Rail - a rail with a bend to it, so if you look from the top it looks like a S

Step-Up - to turn up the harcoreness, try harder or a jump where the landing is height than the jump

Sick - really cool

Spine - a big jump where you have go off of the front side and can go straight, or to either side of the jump

Steeze -Style with ease.

Table Top - a big park jump, has a nice big launch and then a flat top part and then a downhill landing

Tight - sweet, cool

Urban - stuff outside of the designated snowboard areas. Handrails in cities or anywhere where your not suppose to be

Worked - to get owned, be put to work

Writers, if you want to add a term, just edit the current page for it.. dont create new content as it has no where for it to go

sick. I dont know what to put for a description if I were to add Butter Box or A-frame rail or whatever people call it.
